I don’t have experience discussing art or poetry… Is that ok?

Absolutely! We know that art and poetry can sometimes be intimidating. Our chats are designed so to make the medical humanities widely accessible and low stress. During the chats, we all learn from each other.

What if I miss the chat? Can I go back and read what others posted?

There are two ways to go back and read comments from prior chats: directly on the MedHumChat Twitter page or on Symplur.com. If you want to full transcript of the chat, it’s best to use Symplur.

To use Symplur, you will need to make a free account. Once you have done so, go to https://www.symplur.com/healthcare-hashtags/medhumchat/. Scroll down and set the time and date of the Twitter chat you’d like to catch up on and click “Get Transcript.” This will generate a PDF transcript of all Tweets containing #MedHumChat during the time you specified.
